Hi there, my name is Dorota, and I am an English teacher who is passionate about helping others communicate effectively in this language. If you're looking to spread your wings and take your English skills to new heights, you've definitely come to the right place. Let's work together to achieve your goals!

My story
Language learning has always been my passion. Back in school, I effortlessly achieved excellent results in English, and in my free time, I immersed myself in the lyrics of my favorite performers (Sting, U2, Marillion, Pink Floyd, The Doors – you name it!.). My ultimate goal was to speak English fluently, so pursuing English Philology was a natural choice. Right after university, I headed to London, where I honed my language skills while working and networking. Spending sunny months in the south of France sparked a new flame – French. Even though English had been my gateway to the world, I gradually picked up the basics of French and started communicating in this beautiful language. After college, I kicked off my journey as an English teacher at a language school. It was fulfilling, no doubt. But my thirst for new experiences led me to Warsaw. Thanks to my top-notch English, I quickly found a job at a trading company with global connections. Since then, I was building my experience across various companies, including big-shot international corporations, mastering the realms of marketing, sales, and team management. To add a cherry on top, I enhanced my practical language skills with Business English (you can dig into the details on my LinkedIn profile). Then came the pandemic, a time for reflection. As the world hit pause, I found myself yearning for more freedom and the chance to be a freelancer – no strict schedules, no clock-watching, and the luxury of working from home. It hit me that I've always had a soft spot for teaching, so I decided to circle back to my professional origins. To brush up on my teaching skills, I took on an intensive CELTA method course, which I completed with honours and received a diploma that officially stamps my global English teaching qualifications. Since then, I've been working on my own, focusing on teaching adults and young learners. I mainly teach online, both individually and in small, intimate groups. My experience in marketing, sales, and team management not only enables me to teach English but also to share practical insights about business and professional life. This makes it easy for me to connect with my students who are improving their English for professional purposes.
